If you want to give it a try, download and unzip the base package.

Put the data files in that same folder,

execute something like

java fixel.Faking3DFrame for more control or
java fixel.Fixel for the monkey edition (but download the data first).

If you have Java 1.5 and a OpenGL Binding use this one:

-> java -Xmx120m -Dsun.java2d.opengl=True fixel.Fixel <-

Its not really stable on my machine with those settings, though, but hopefully on yours. 

Great stuff, just found out about that new feature of Java 1.5. 

I will put more data online as soon as I know that its legal.

Assigning more memory to the jre might help (done with -Xmx150m or something like that, check java help)
